This safe online car shopping initiative was launched in early 2007 by the leading Internet car marketplaces AutoScout24 and mobile.de in cooperation with ADAC. Since March 2008, the police have provided proactive support. This long-term initiative is aimed at alerting the users of German online auto portals to safety issues related to car buying and selling over the Internet, and to provide comprehensive information and practical help. The contents of our website mainly reflect the German marketplace and the German legal system.
